Bruce M. Baker, 63, of Sheridan, WY died Saturday, October 17, 2009, in his Sheridan home.

Bruce was born September 30, 1946, in Sheridan to Joseph & Merle (Jenkins) Baker.

Bruce grew up and attended schools in Sheridan. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked for many years in the oil fields of Alaska. He returned to Sheridan in 1997.

Bruce is survived by his sister Kim Wilson of Sheridan, his brother Larry Baker of Cody, WY and numerous nieces and nephews.

Private family scattering of his cremains will be later. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
