Caroline J. “Carrie” Schwartz, 67, of Sheridan, WY died Monday, October 4, 2010, in Billings Clinic, Billings, MT.

Carrie was born June 8, 1943, in Sheridan to Tobias Lee & Rose (Gonzales) Zamora.

Carrie grew up and attended schools in Sheridan. She married Jack Miech on August 10, 1963, in Sheridan. They divorced in 1982. She worked as a CNA at Memorial Hospital for about 20 years. Carrie married John Schwartz on June 8, 2002. She was a cook at Sheridan College, Beckton Stock Farm and then at Westview Health Care Center for twelve years until the present time. Carrie had a passion for cooking, always had an extra plate at the table and loved to entertain. She enjoyed her home, gardening, her cat and making trips to Deadwood. Carrie was very proud of her children and grandchildren.

Carrie was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Konni; three brothers Joe, Tobias & Johnny; and grandson Dustin Farman.

Carrie is survived by her husband John Schwartz of Sheridan; sons Ronni Miech and Lonni (Carol) Miech of Sheridan; daughter Jonni (Stacy) Lahn of Sheridan; sisters Faye VanEe of Pella, IA and Dee Habeck of Sheridan; grandchildren Cody Miech, Felicia and Kaela Lahn; and several nieces and nephews.

Memorial service will be 2:00pm on Saturday (Oct. 9th) from Champion Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Goodwin officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
