Catherine L. Leslie, 90, of Story, WY died Friday, October 12, 2012, in Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County.

Catherine was born April 20, 1922, in Newcastle, Pennsylvania, to Joseph & Suzanne (LeBihan) Palk.

Catherine grew up and graduated high school in Newcastle. After high school, she worked as a clerk for the Social Security Administration. She married Paris Leslie on August 1, 1945, in Newcastle. They lived in Joliet, IL where she worked in retail sales and in a beauty shop. After she retired, they moved to Story to be near her daughter. In Story, she was active in her Sorority. Catherine learned to play the violin when she was young and also enjoyed traveling, walking, sewing, needlework, reading, music, dancing cooking and being with her family. She was always smiling and pleasant. Catherine loved her children and grandchildren.

Catherine is preceded in death by her twin daughter Janet Oyer & grandson Jason Lopez.

Catherine is survived by her husband Paris; son Leland & wife Marcie of Sheridan, WY; daughter Robin Churchill & husband Dave of Joliet, IL, Lisa Curtis & husband Jason Durand of Story and Judith Barnett & husband Dale of Sheridan; sister Georgette Richards of California; nine grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be 11:00am on Wednesday (Oct. 17th) in the Story Woman’s Club. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home, Sheridan, WY.
