Douglas M. Ramsey, 41, of Sheridan died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2009, in his home. Graveside service is 11 a.m. Wednesday in Sheridan Municipal cemetery with the Rev. Ron Stolcis officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Born June 15, 1968, in Zanesville, Ohio, he grew up in Southern California. He graduated from the Commonwealth Institute of Mortuary Science in Houston. Mr. Ramsey worked as a funeral director in numerous funeral homes, most recently Kane Funeral Home for 10 years.‍He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his pets and son. He was preceded in death by his father, Les Fitch. Survivors include a son, Richard Ramsey of Sheridan; his mother, Barbara Ramsey of Billings; and a brother, David Ramsey of San Francisco.
