Ellen Florine (Martin) Roberts, 65, of Sheridan, Wyoming, died Monday, July 30, 2012 in Beaverton, Oregon.

Mrs. Roberts was born April 21, 1947 in Forest Grove, Oregon to V. G. and Mildred Florine (Ridling) Martin. She grew and attended schools in Forest Grove, Oregon, Hungry Horse, Montana, and Sheridan, Wyoming. She also attended Sheridan College.

Ellen married Frederick Dean Roberts on August 19, 1964 in Sheridan, and was a home maker and an Army wife for 27 years. After the boys grew up and Fred retired from the Army, Ellen spent time working in real estate and insurance offices before retiring herself in 2008.

She enjoyed quilting, doll making, needlepoint, knitting, crocheting, and genealogy.

Ellen was preceded in death by her husband, Fred; her parents; one brother, Pete Martin; and one daughter, Ellen Earleen Roberts.

She is survived by three sons, Fred Roberts, of Beaverton, Oregon, Martin Roberts, of Deer Park, Washington, and R. Michael Roberts, of Gillette, Wyoming; two brothers, Don Martin, of Laramie, Wyoming, and Dave Martin, of Sheridan, Wyoming; and 9 grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10:00am on Wednesday (Aug. 8th) from Bethesda Worship Center with the Rev. Kelly Gooch officiating. Interment will be 1:00pm in Little Big Horn National Cemetery, Crow Agency, MT. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
