Fay P. Pabst, 86, of Sheridan, WY, died Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Westview Health Care Center.

Mrs. Pabst was born February 20 1925 in Bowring, Oklahoma to William David and Almary (Williamson) Freeman. She married Clarence Pabst April 7, 1945 in Wichita, Kansas.

The Pabsts’ moved to Casper, Wyoming after their marriage where Mrs. Pabst had a baby-sitting business. Upon Mr. Pabst’s retirement from Sears, the couple moved to Sheridan, Wyoming where Fay had a baby-sitting business on a lesser scale than in Casper. In 1995 the couple proudly celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary.

Mrs. Pabst was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband.

She is survived by her cousins, Lillie Ione Nelson Combs Farek and Rose Beatrice Nelson Weaver as well as second cousins Beatrice Lee Weaver, Tommy Mac Combs, and Paul Edward Combs, all of Houston, Texas, Charles O. V. Combs, of El Sabranto, California; nieces Donna Reichert, Joan Peters, Elmora Dickenson, Linda Pabst, Nancy Pabst; nephews Larry and Johnny Pabst, Dale Musegades; and special friends, Fred and Doris Case, of Sheridan, Wyoming.

Graveside service for Mrs. Pabst will be 2:00 P M. Thursday, June 7, 2011 in the Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Douglas Goodwin officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
