James A. Eads

James A. Eads, of Sheridan, WY, died Wednesday, June 30, 2010 in the Sheridan V. A. Medical Center.

Mr. Eads was born June 17, 1920 in Sheridan, WY to Frank and Grace (Walker) Eads. He grew up in Sheridan and Buffalo and graduated from Buffalo High School.

Jim joined the Army Air Corps during WW II and was stationed in Colorado. He was a turret gun instructor and flew light reconnaissance aircraft.

Mr. Eads married Martha Chase May 1, 1943 in Denver, Colorado.

Jim was a general contractor and enjoyed bowling, playing golf, and was an avid fisherman.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; his parents; one sister, Eileen; one brother, Warren; and one grandson, William.

Mr. Eads is survived by one son, John Eads, of California; two daughters, Judi Cornish, of Hawaii, and Tina Kysar, of Idaho; 6 grandchildren; and 4 great grandchildren; and friend and companion, Loie.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
