Jill M. Randolph

About:

Jill Randolph, 65, of Sheridan, WY passed away on Wednesday, February 6, 2013 in Billings, MT after a long battle with cancer. Jill was surrounded by her loving sons, wives, grandchildren and great grandchild.

Jill was born in Flint, Michigan on February 13th, 1947 to George M. Cutler and Marian A. Henry. She was raised in Michigan with her two older sisters, Judith K. Cutler and Jovae A. Brady, and her little brother, Jamie L. Cutler. She grew up in Linden, Michigan with a short stay in Clarkston.

She was married out of high school to Elwyn ‘Pete’ Petry and had three boys. After several years, they separated and Jill raised the three boys on her own. Jill moved to Sheridan in 1977 to live and work on a dairy farm for four years. She knew it was a great place to raise three boys, her pride and joy. Jill resided in Sheridan the rest of her life, supporting her boys by working as a housekeeper.

She met the second love of her life, Cecil R. Randolph, in 1984 and they married in August of 1990. They were very active at the Eagles Club #186 and enjoyed camping, rock hounding and any other activities in the Big Horns. Cecil was a great person, inside and out, and was genuinely loved by all of his new, in-law, family. After Cecil’s passing, Jill still continued to clean houses and devoted her time to her Christianity, her children, her grandchildren and recently, her great grand child.

Jill would never put herself first in any circumstance. She was more than willing to give of her time or resources to help anyone in need. She was known as the most friendly, empathetic, caring, loving, generous person you could ever meet. She would sometimes invite the homeless over to dinner or offer her time or money in a moments notice to anyone in need. She could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, and raise their spirits. She seemed to be always be happy.

Her boys and family, as well as many others, will have a hole in their heart that can never be filled and she will be missed more than words can express.

We can, without any doubt whatsoever, say her only wish for her remaining friends and family would be for you to accept Jesus Christ into your heart as your Lord and Savior.

Jill was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil and her parents.

Survivors include three sons, Nicholas S.(Kathie), Richard T. and Steven P.(Yvette) Petry all of Billings, MT; Sisters Judith K. Cutler and Jovae A. Brady of Michigan, brother Jamie L. Cutler of Billings, MT, seven grandchildren: Sarah N. Petry, Nicholas S. Petry, Tori L. Spencer, Samantha D. Petry, Steven G. Petry and Jordan A. Petry, and one great daughter, Taevin Petry and one great son on the way.
