John David Mouat, 65 years of age, passed away at the Veteran’s Administration Medical Center in Sheridan, WY after a short illness.
Dave was born in Washington D.C. and graduated from high school in 1966. He joined the US Air Force during the Vietnam War and earned a Bronze Star. He worked as an Air Traffic Controller at Washington National Airport and Dulles International Airport. Dave was a Certified Nurses Assistant and worked throughout the northwest until his retirement.
Dave loved to cheer for his favorite football team, the Redskins, go fishing with his brothers, and play games of Roust. He was almost always smiling and will be sorely missed by those who knew him.
Dave is survived by his father, John Charles Mouat of Titusville, FL, his mother, Doris Edith Mouat of Billings, MT; his son Kevin and wife Michelle and their daughter, April and son, Arthur of Billings, MT; brothers Steve Mouat of Dublin, VA and Mike Mouat of Fishtail, MT. He is also survived by friends and relatives too numerous to mention.
Funeral arrangements were made by the Champion Ferries Funeral Home of Sheridan, WY. Interment will be at the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, Black Hills National Cemetary in Sturgis, SD.
