Lillian M. Keahey, age 81, of Sheridan, WY died Tuesday, August 25, 2009, in Memorial Hospital of Sheridan County

Lillian was born November 3, 1927, in Sheridan to Jesse & Anna (Hoffman) Ekis.

Lillian grew up and graduated from high school in Sheridan. She graduated from Hinz Business College. Lillian married Bruce E. Keahey on June 26, 1949. They lived in Sheridan and she was the credit manager of Montgomery Ward until her retirement. After retirement, she joined her husband and son at Bruce’s Standard until 1995. Lillian enjoyed fishing in the mountains, embroidering and she loved to cook. She was an active member of the McCormick Homemakers Club.

Lillian was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and three sisters-in-law.

Lillian is survived by her son Bruce of Sheridan; daughter Cheryle Haworth of Ft. Collins, CO; brother Bernard Ekis of Sheridan; sister Nancy Favero of Sheridan; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2:00pm on Friday (Aug. 28th) in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery with the Rev. Scott Lee officiating. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.

Memorials may benefit Bethesda Worship Center, the Senior Citizen’s Center or the Donor’s Choice.
