Marjorie Porter

Former Sheridan resident Marjorie Porter, 94, died Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2009, in Thermopolis Rehabilitation Center. No services are planned. Private committal of cremains was in the family plot in Sheridan Municipal cemetery. Arrangements were with Champion Ferries Funeral Home. Born Aug. 22, 1915, in Sheridan to George and Mary (Stevie) Herron, she grew up here and was employed as a retail clerk for a time. She was disabled most of her life. She is survived by several nieces, nephews and a cousin.
