Martha Sene, 100, of Sheridan, WY died Wednesday, January 27, 2010, in Westview Health Care Center, Sheridan.

Martha was born on December 7, 1909, in Lehr, N. Dakota to Henry & Johanna (Muntd) Nathan.

She grew up and attended schools in Kings Settlement, ND. Martha married Vern Sene on August 1, 1934, in Ellendale, ND. They lived in N. Dakota, Texas, Montana and California before settling in Sheridan in about 1946. Vern died in 1965. Martha then worked for Dan’s Ranchwear for twenty years until she retired. Martha enjoyed traveling, knitting and crocheting. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and AARP.

Martha was also preceded in death by two sisters and two brothers.

Martha is survived by her sons Marlin of Nogales, AZ and Royce of Emigrant, MT; four grandchildren and one grandson.

Funeral service will be 10:00am on Monday (Feb. 1st) from Champion Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul J Cain officiating. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery, Elks Section. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.

Memorials may benefit Immanuel Lutheran Church.
