Mary Anita Chambers, 72, of Sheridan, WY passed away Friday, August 20, 2010, in Sheridan Manor.

She was born October 6, 1937, in Sheridan the daughter of R.D. and Irene (Odegard) Chambers.

The family moved to California in 1941. Her mother passed away in 1948. In 1952, she moved back to Wyoming, living in Sussex and Arvada. She moved to Sheridan in 1964, living here until her passing.

She worked in School District #2 for 20 years. She was active in 4-H, horseshows and school activities with her daughters. She enjoyed crafts, knitting, traveling, visiting with friends and relatives, being a mother to her wonderful daughters Julie and Holly and grandmother to Presley her great joy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother and special cousin Helen Ullery.

She is survived by her daughters Holly Marie Legerski of Sheridan and Julie Ann Mason of Pittsburgh, PA; granddaughter Presley Legerski and special cousin Beverly Landrey.

Funeral service will be 10:00am on Tuesday (Aug. 24th) from Champion Ferries Funeral Home with The Rev. Kevin Jones officiating. Interment will be in Sheridan Municipal Cemetery. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
