Michael H. Kobielusz, 37, of Sheridan died Wednesday, June 10, 2009, in his home. Memorial service is 10 a.m. Monday at Champion Ferries Funeral Home with the Rev. Douglas Goodwin officiating. Burial of cremains will be in Sheridan Municipal cemetery at a later date. Born Oct. 16, 1971, in Wheat Ridge, Colo., to Gary and Cynthia (Kunesh) Kobielusz, he moved with his family to Sheridan as a small child. He grew up and graduated from high school in Sheridan and worked several jobs before joining the Wyoming Department of Transportation in 2002. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles and spending time with his son, Jordan. He attended First Christian Church.‍He was preceded in death by his father. Survivors include his son of Carbondale, Colo.; his mother, Cynthia Purcella; a sister, Kara Schreibeis; three grandparents, Howard and Joan Kunesh and John T. Kobielusz, all of Sheridan; and a niece. Memorials may benefit Michael Kobielusz’s son's education fund in care of Kara Schreibeis, Security State Bank, 2070 Coffeen Ave., Sheridan, WY 82801.
