Mildred D. Rohrbach, 90, of Sheridan, WY, died Friday, February 5, 2010 in Sheridan Manor.
Mrs. Rohrbach was born January 28, 1920 in California, Missouri to C. Pete and Mellie (Gamble) Hill. The family moved to Ulm, Wyoming when she was a small girl, and she attended Ulm school.
Mildred married Edward Rohrbach in 1947 in Hardin, Montana.
Mrs. Rohrbach was a hair stylist in Missouri, and after moving to Sheridan, Wyoming, worked as a waitress then was a printing assistant for Quick Printing. She then went to work as a L. P. N. at Sheridan Memorial Hospital and Dr. Fred Araas, retiring in the 1960’s.
Mildred was a member of the Eagle’s Lodge #186 Women’s Auxiliary.
Mrs. Rohrbach sold Avon, and enjoyed fishing, traveling, gardening, and spending a lot of time in the mobile home at Elkhorn Trailer Park at Burgess Junction in the Big Horn Mountains.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and three brothers.
Mildred is survived by her husband, Edward, of Sheridan, WY; one daughter, Veryleta, Skates, of Denver, CO; 1 grandson; and 2 great grandsons.
At Mrs. Rohrbach’s request, no services are planned. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
