Rebecca Jean (Boyko) Cotton, 55, of Sheridan, Wyoming, died Friday, August 19, 2011 in Sheridan Memorial Hospital from a massive stroke.
Mrs. Cotton was born June 10, 1956 in Sheridan, Wyoming to John P. and Josephine (Louie) Boyko. She grew up and attended schools in Sheridan, and attended Sheridan College for two years.
Rebecca married LeRoy Cotton in Sheridan. She worked for Sheridan School District at the High School and was retried. Rebecca was baptized at the Holy Name Catholic Church in Sheridan.
She was a member of the V. F. W. and enjoyed crocheting, reading, NASCAR racing, and the Pittsburgh Steelers football. She loved to bowl, and had a great love of animals.
Rebecca was preceded in death by her husband, LeRoy, and her father.
She is survived by one daughter, Christi Czapansky, and her husband, Matt; one grandson, Lucas; all of Warrensburg, Missouri; her mother, Josephine Boyko, of Sheridan, Wyoming; sisters Joyce Channel, (Bud) of Sheridan, Wyoming, Sandra Cooley, of Sheridan, Wyoming, Susan Banas, of Glendale, California, and Barbara Boyko, of Napa, California; one brother, Frank (Jim) Boyko, Sharon), of Sheridan, Wyoming; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.
A private family graveside service will be held at a later date, and a Celebration of Life for Rebecca is pending. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
