Rose E. Stone, 82, of Sheridan, WY, died Sunday, February 21, 2010 in Sheridan Manor.

Mrs. Stone was born December 6, 1927 in Sheridan, WY to Thomas D. and Lulu (Cotton) Stroup. She grew up in Sheridan and attended Sheridan schools.

Rose married Francis W. Stone June 6, 1947.

Mrs. Stone was a clerk in various stores in Sheridan. She enjoyed bowling and crafts, and was a member of the N.R.A. and the Cloud Peak Bowling Association.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and 8 brothers and sisters.

Rose is survived by her husband, Francis, of Sheridan, WY; and one son,
Kieth F. Stone, of Memphis, TN; 2 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild.

At Mrs. Stone’s request, no services are planned. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
