Sean Alan Mikesell
December 13, 1984-October 17, 2010

Sheridan resident, Sean Mikesell, 25, formerly of Tuolumne County, unexpectedly passed away Sunday, October 17, 2010 in Sheridan, WY.

Born in Sheridan, WY, Sean moved to Tuolumne County in 1999 and attended Summerville High School. He later returned to WY and started a family of his own. He married Tessa Sees in Sheridan, WY on January 5, 2008. Sean was employed at Cleary Construction.

Sean loved fishing, hiking and the great outdoors. He was working on obtaining a pilots license. He was also a computer guru. He was known to jump on his motorcycle and take off to the Big Horn Mountains. He also loved taking things apart but did not always put them back together.

Sean is survived by his wife Tessa and daughters Ashton, 2 and Zoe Mikesell, 1 and Shai Greene 8 years of age.

Sean is also survived by his parents: Sherry Mikesell and Mike Wallace of Green River, WY and Burl and Sharon Mikesell of Tuolumne; his sisters: Allysa Mikesell of Sacramento and Sondra Ledsome of Tuolumne: his grandparents: Audrey Mikesell of Murietta, CA and Jack and Myrtle Amende of Sheridan, WY as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins throughout the country. Sean was preceded in death by his grandfathers, George Mikesell and James French. Also, his uncles Tim and Steven French.

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Mikesell Memorial Fund to support Sean’s loving wife and children. Services are planned for Saturday, October 23 at 11AM at the Eagles on Commercial Drive in Sheridan with a more intimate ceremony in Tongue River Canyon at 2PM in the Big Horn Mountains of Wyoming. Champion Ferries Funeral Home, Sheridan, WY is handling arrangements. Troy Trueblood will be officiating the services.
