Todd B. Heemeyer, 59, of Sheridan, WY died Tuesday, January 3, 2012, in Sheridan Memorial Hospital.

Todd was born in Sioux Falls, SD on September 30, 1952, to Florence Berg, a single mother. Todd was later adopted by Ralph and Irene Heemeyer when he was three months old.

Todd attended schools in South Dakota and later moved to Great Falls, MT where he graduated from high school. He moved to Sheridan in 1975 and began working for BN Railroad (RNSF) where he was working until our heavenly father came to get him. Todd married Linda Williams on July 7, 1979 and they had two children. Todd was looking forward to retiring in September of 2012, to spend more time with his family and the apple of his eye, Gavin, his only grandson. His family meant everything to him; he was a wonderful husband and father. Todd was very kind and generous man who will be greatly missed by all that knew him.

Todd was preceded in death in death by his parents.

Todd is survived by his wife of Sheridan; son Devin (Christin) of Billings, MT; daughter Candice (Mark) of Sheridan; his only grandson Gavin of Billings, MT; mother-in-law, brothers-in-law, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

There will be a celebration of his life on Saturday (Jan. 7th) from 2pm until 5pm at his residence at 10 Crystal Creek Drive, Sheridan. Anyone who needs directions can call for directions at 307-672-2608. Arrangements are with Champion Ferries Funeral Home.
